This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
I got you! Do not stress, you don't need any modeling or previous photoshoot experience. I will guide you through the ENTIRE session with prompts and gentle direction. I use a mix of poses and prompts that create movement such as walking or doing a spin.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely! I have a list of favorite locations throughout Minnesota. Once you have booked your session, I will help you choose a location best fit for your vision and vibes!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel within 50 miles outside of Morris, Minnesota is included. Sessions or weddings outside of that radius may require a travel or hotel fee! I will provide a custom quote before booking so there are no surprises.
Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?
Yes! Every gallery includes high resolution digital images with a personal print release through an online gallery. You will also have access to an online store through your gallery where you can order prints, canvases, invitations, etc. You may also order through a third party.
How long will it take to receive my gallery?
Regular portrait sessions are delivered within 1-2 weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered within 4 weeks. You will also receive a selection of sneak peeks shortly after your session or wedding.
What should I wear?
I always recommend neutral colors. Greens, browns, black, white and creams. No neons or crazy patterns. I am happy to help you narrow down outfit choices too!
How do I book?
Simply find my contact forms at the top of our website and choose general for regular portraits or wedding for wedding inquiries. Fill it out and send it my way! I will reach out shortly after!
What about weather?
If weather makes an outdoor session unsafe or affects the quality of your photos, we can reschedule at no additional cost!
How do payments work?
For all regular sessions, payment is due upon booking. For weddings I require a $1,000 retainer fee upon booking. This helps me solidify your date along with travel or hotel expenses and a second photographer. You may pay the $1,000 in full or do two $500 payments. The remainder of the wedding invoice is not due until the week of your wedding!
Do you offer refunds?
I do not offer refunds once a photography session has been completed. A significant part of my service includes the time, effort, and expertise that go into capturing and editing your images to ensure the best possible results. Results are based around the photographers style. I may offer refunds due to weather or sickness.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
That’s completely normal and honestly, most of my couples say the same thing. My approach is relaxed and natural, allowing you to focus on each other rather than the camera. You don’t need to know how to pose, that’s my job.
Can we get raw files?
I do not provide RAW files to clients. My editing process is an essential part of delivering the final, high quality images that reflect my style and professionalism.
